Bumblebee director Travis Knight has exited the film adaptation of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted video game series, according to Deadline.
Knight has reportedly departed the production over scheduling issues with co-star Tom Holland who is expected to begin filming a new Marvel/Sony Spider-Man film in Summer 2020, with Uncharted being pushed back on Sony’s schedule as a result.
Holland and co-star Mark Wahlberg reportedly remain attached for the rescheduled production. Uncharted is scheduled for a December 18, 2020 theatrical release. It’s unclear if this date will change as a result of the production delays.
